Cookie Review: Keebler Fudge Shoppe Mini Fudge Stripes
I’ve been meaning to get on the 100-calorie packs of cookies for a while. I grew up on Keebler Fudge Shoppe Fudge Stripes, putting 5 on my 5 fingers and eating them that way. Makes for chocolatey fingers after a while, but hey.. they are SO GOOD! This one here is the 100-calorie Right Bites pack:
As you can see there are 6 packs in here. They look like this:
There are about 10 of these cookies inside the bag:
Aren’t they SO CUTE! Mini fudge stripes! They had to change the texture up a little bit probably because they’re so small:
I’ll be honest — I was a bit weary when buying them. That’s because I have eaten the 100-calorie Right Bites packs of Chips Deluxe Chocolate Chip, and that tasted really bad. A pleasant surprise these had in store for me!! They taste EXACTLY like their larger counterparts. They’re a really good crunchy, chocolatey, sweet, convenient, pop-in-your-mouth treat. Wish I could put them on the tips of my fingers but… maybe babies can
- Taste: 10
- Crust and center moistness: outside is crunchy. inside is.. nonexistent. cuz there’s a hole in the middle!
- Value: 6 packets for about $3.50; the regular-sized cookies are about the same price and have about 30 cookies in them. 2 regular-sized cookies would almost be the equivalent of 1 packet, according to the calorie count. Obviously, the regular-sized ones that come in a tray is a WAY better deal for your money, but if you like the convenience I think $3.50 for 100-calorie packs is on the average. I’d rather buy the tray and use storage containers or even ziplock bags.
- Overall: These cookies are classic cookies made into a watch-your-weight-but-still-eat-what-you-want form (except I’m one of those people who go hey! only 100 calories! That means I can eat TWO packs!). Nicely portioned out for you and taste GREAT!! I give it a 10 as I would 100% spend money on them again.
