COOKIES arrived at work :)

Cheryl & Co. cookies. Fancy, I know. Gourmet delivery! An entire box of individually wrapped cookies. Choc chip, oatmeal raisin, even some butter cookies with frosting! I was first to get grabby so I got chocolate chip. Can’t go wrong, right? Well, I was right, because I heard not great things about the frosting ones.

My cookie was, meh. I don’t know what satisfies the definition of “fancy” when it comes to cookies besides the price, but I really don’t care unless it tastes good. This cookie was soft, kind of bland, not enough chocolate chips.. nothing special to me. Ugh, after the disappointing Big Sugar Bake Shop cookies, I have yet to find a “gourmet” bakery that bakes good “gourmet” cookies around here. Until then.. stick with Diddy Riese.

You’re exactly right about those cookies. My husband sent me some for my birthday and we were both really disappointed! I’ve made MUCH better cookies following a recipe on the back of a bag of chocolate chips!! And the frosted ones…double yuck.
