Was craving a cookie when I opened the pantry hoping to find some. I personally don’t keep any cookies in the house, just because I know they’ll be gone within a day, so I was kind of taking a longshot. But lo and behold, there were two cookies individually wrapped peeking out from behind some sauce bottles on the third shelf! Thanks Meg.

I grabbed one, tore into the wrapper and broke off a piece. It is very soft, but not crumbly. In fact, it’s soft all around; the middle and the crust have almost the same consistency. It was actually better than I expected; I’m not a huge fan of the Chips Ahoy original cookies in the blue packaging. It wasn’t sweeter, but it tasted better, probably due to the fact that it wasn’t so hard (like the Chips Ahoy originals) and the medium-sized soft chocolate chunks complemented the rest of the cookie very well. For a packaged cookie the taste was pretty good. The size of the cookie was great for a snack; it was bigger than their regular cookies, but not so big that it made me feel guilty. And, another great thing is that it is moist enough that you milk drinkers won’t need a glass of milk with it. It’s thick, medium – big and moist; however, if I were to choose any packaged cookie, I would take Mrs. Field’s over this one if it was not that much more expensive because the Mrs. Field’s cookies’ chocolate chips taste better and there top of the cookie is a little more crunchy than the inside, which I like.

Taste: 7
Center & Crust Moistness: soft all around
Value: ? Free for me, it was in my apartment..I haven’t found out how much it costs yet
Overall: 7
